On behalf of his charity work for cancer patients 10 year old Jack Covill-Lowndes is honored by Lego with a life sized statue.

A boy who lost his mother to cancer has had a life-size statue built in his image out of Lego, after the toymaker hailed him as a hero for his charity work.
Jack Covill-Lowndes was honoured for raising thousands of pounds for the hospice that cared for mother Steph.
He beat thousands of other nominees to be named Lego City Hero when his family put his name forward.
The ten-year-old from Wainfleet, Lincolnshire, got to see his likeness – made of 35,000 bricks – when he visited Legoland in Windsor.
‘It’s awesome,’ he said. ‘I can’t stop looking at my statue.’
The figure will remain at Legoland until the end of September before being sent to Jack’s house for him to keep.
His aunt, Tamara Lowndes, said: ‘It’s fantastic – but I’ve no idea where I can keep it. Jack wants it in his bedroom but I think that it’ll make a great garden ornament!’
Harry Harrison, from Lego, added: ‘Jack’s story really captured the essence of a real-life, everyday hero.
‘He’s a real inspiration – and to be immortalised in Lego is befitting of his amazing outlook and achievements.’
