Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade takes a night off from the NBA play-offs to bring high school senior Nicole Muxo to her prom

Nicole Muxo, a senior at Archbishop Coleman Carroll High School in Miami, is such a big fan of a certain Miami Heat basketball star that she couldn't help but ask him -- in an elaborate way -- to the year's biggest dance.
"I chose to ask Dwayne Wade to prom because he's my favorite basketball player and I think he's a positive role model to a lot of people out there," Muxo told NBC Miami.
The high schooler pulled out all the stops in a promposal video she posted on YouTubevideo on Saturday. Watch the full video below. She wore her "number three" basketball jersey, spelled out "Prom?" on five different basketballs and even included Kanye West's "The Glory" as background music (lyrics: "In two years the Dwayne Wayne became the Dwyane Wade").
Wade hasn't said an official "yes or no" yet, but he has taken the time to publicly respond. In the video above, he told NBC that he wasn't aware of Muxo's video but this isn't the first time he's been asked to the prom.
"I haven’t even seen it, but I’m flattered," he said. "I am."
The Miami Heat just started playing in their first NBA playoffs series against the Milwaukee Bucks, so Wade has a pretty busy schedule at the moment. But Muxo says she doesn't want to find another prom date because bringing Wade would be "the best day of [her] life."
