Homeless man and his daughter are reunited after 24 years thanks to Realtor with big heart...

Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- We do it every day: Walk or drive by a homeless person. But local Realtor Jim Snyder couldn't keep walking. Something told him to stop and help a man who was hunched over and freezing. What happened next is unbelievable.
Jimmy Francis will be the first to say he's made mistakes. And those mistakes left him cold and homeless outside a sandwich shop when Las Vegas realtor Jim Snyder passed by.

Jim remembers, "When I took him that sandwich and I handed it to him and how cold he was, it broke my heart."

So Jim drove back and got Jimmy, brought him home and discovered he was searching for his daughter. Jim's wife Maria says, "My husband was meant to find him. He was meant to help him. I think he saved his life is what I think he did. I am very proud of him."

Maria searched on Facebook and sent a message to a woman they thought might be Jimmy's daughter. Jimmy recalls her reaction, "She was shocked, crying, amazed. The first thing she wanted to know is this is my dad. Is he doing okay?"

The next step? Hope that Jimmy's daughter, Natalie, can set up Skype so the two can see each other.  But until then, Jimmy is just thankful he's spoken to her. "There is no way I could ever repay them for what they've done. Not even knowing me."

And just our news crew was leaving, a text. Natalie had Skype and we got to watch the father and daughter see each other for the first time in 24 years.

There were tears and lots of laughter. It turns out Natalie used to hate computers but not any more.
Natalie told us how she felt when she first got the Facebook message. "Overwhelmed. It was unbelievable. I was on the Internet the day before looking for him and to get that message was just really amazing."

Jimmy rescued two puppies left in a dumpster, so he can't go to a shelter -- they won't take his pets. It also makes it difficult for him to visit his daughter.

As for Natalie, she and her dad lost touch when her mother decided to keep the two apart all those years ago. Now, the Snyders are trying to raise money to help reunite the two and get Jimmy back on his feet. Click here to help.
