The Wisconsin widow and mother of two who vowed to dispense kindness to strangers to honor the memory of her late husband did just that yesterday at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
Colleen Wogernese, 31, provided 318 random acts of kindness — one for each day her late husband fought cancer — for patients and staff at the Brigham.
Wogernese made the 1,200-mile trip from her home to buy coffee and hand out lottery tickets and care packages as a way of paying it forward at the hospital where her husband received treatment.
