Relationships can be sticky, but one man proved that stickiness can also be quite successful when it comes to popping the question. Brett Beutler, 26, of Littleton, Colo., surprised his now fiancĂ©, Megan Loosli, 24, by sticking 8,000 Post-it notes all over her living room walls to ask for her hand in marriage. “I came home from work and walked in the door, and wow, it was ridiculous,” Loosli told GoodMorningAmerica.com. “We had picked out the ring and everything, but he gave me this story that it takes a couple weeks to actually get it, so I was thinking July. But then I walked in, and I was shocked for sure.” Beutler says it took him several months to write ‘I love you’ on the 8,000 individual Post-its. “It was definitely a labor of love,” his mother, Deanna Beutler, said, taking three people seven hours to put them all up. The happy couple is planning to wed in August.
