Jessica Rees was diagnosed with a brain tumor at age 11.
When she saw other children having to stay in the hospital, she wanted to help "make them happier, because I know they're going through a lot," she said.
So she started making JoyJars -- containers full of toys, stickers, crayons, anything that might brighten a child's day....

She is a very special person and obviously cares deeply about others.
ReplyDeleteYes, quite an amazing little girl who unfortunately lost her battle this year, but her legacy and story carries on through the foundation that she founded with her parents - one of a kind grateful, special and selfless little girl.
