A waiter at a Texas restaurant took a moral stand and defended a five-year-old boy with Down Syndrome from a customer who made disparaging and insulting remarks aimed at the little boy, as reported by the ABC news national service.
Wait staff member Michael Garcia of Houston's Lorenzo's on Washington family restaurant had two separate groups of regular customers in adjoining booths Friday night.
Among one group was family matriarch Kim Castillo and her 5-yr-old son Milo who was born with Down Syndrome.
